-Love my Parents!!!
My parents came up last Thursday to do the amazing thing of stocking my house with food. We couldn't do it without them! We are so grateful for all they do for us, my dad even made sure a box of cookies got put in the cart of which in 2 days all 12 servings are now gone and safely in our stomachs.
So I love my mom for taking care of Rhett while me and my dad went to the store. She played with him until he dropped. Meaning when the parents left I put him down for a nap and he slept for 2 1/2 hours!! The longest nap he has EVER had. She also found Rhett this very little wind up car which he loves :)
If you know my dad you would know how much he HATES shopping. He HATES it so much he will buy several pairs of the same shoes just so he won't have to go shopping for years to come. So while we are in the grocery store we see a little boy in the cart shopping with his mom. My dad has the little boy give him a high five, the boy was a little hesitant at first but went along with it in the end. We went to the next aisle and there again was this little boy so my dad had him give him another high five and then said "we would see them in the next aisle." On the next aisle again the little boy was there but this time he held out his hand for my dad to give him a high five. We left the aisle and a little bit later saw them again by the milk. The boy made a "oooooo" sound at his mom, and so naturally my father made the same "oooooo" sound. The little boy squealed! So the boy did it back to my dad and of course my dad did it back to him. The mom pushed her cart to a new aisle and we went to a completely different one. So my dad made the same noise really loudly, and in the distance you heard a little laugh and this boy did the noise back. This went on for quite some time. People in the store thought we actually knew each other, and people were laughing. At the checkout stand we were in a different line then this little boy, he was about to leave when he made the noise again and said "bye" so my dad made the noise and said bye too. It was the most entertaining shopping trip. A lady in front of us looked at us and said "well that's one way to keep track of each other."
-Love Spencer and his late night dish washing skills
-Love going to the store and hearing 2 employees talk about a book club and the horrible book
50 Shades of Gray right after I read this post
-Love fall football games.
-Love watching babies play together. Rhett is 2 weeks older than Parker. In fact me and Parker's mom were due on the same day but Rhett decided he had had enough of living upside down in my belly. During Sunday School Parker stole Rhett's toy, so Rhett tapped him on the head, so Parker grabbed Rhett's cheeks. But besides all that they became BFFs.
