Signs
For legal reasons no pictures were taken/will be posted.
With all the election signs on people's lawns it brings back memories of high school. Me and a certain amount of friends (names are withheld for again legal purposes) seemed to have a very strong opinion of the mayor who was running for re-election that year, so we came up with a plan to try to help others see how he should not be re-elected. Mind you both of my parents as I do recall were very for what we may or may not have done.
Most days after school we would get in a car, drive around until we found a re-elect the mayor sign then one of us would jump out of the car, grab the sign and throw it in the trunk. By the end of a week or two we had "taken" (can you really call it stealing if you are trying to protest?) more election signs than any of us can remember.
Now we had to have a place to store what we had "taken" to help humanity. So we put them in the back of the bush on the side of my parents house. We started to run out of room in the back of that bush and we realized on the signs it said if you were caught stealing one off of someones property you would be prosecuted. We told my mother this and she told us we had to move them.
So we did what any smart person would do. We put all the signs back in a car and put them in the dumpster at the Food For Less in Rose Park. We figured no one would suspect us if we put them there, and besides a drug deal went down there almost daily.
Those were good times!

Fathers Day
Rhett sure loves his daddy!
Happy Fathers Day Spencer thanks for being such a great dad and my best friend.
If you ask Spencer how Rhett was at church he would say "he was a little pill." So after a good long family nap in the living room after church life was much happier. We went on a walk and then came home and ate cheese cake one of Spencer's favorite things, then played lots and listened to Rhett laugh and laugh until it was time to sleep.

"I have a nice looking butt"
10 observations from this week:
1. My Father Has A Cute Butt
My parents came up last Wednesday so my dad could meet a lady in Logan to try to get some genealogical information. One of the guys in our ward came over while my parents were visiting with us and he gave us a coupon for a restaurant. Seeing his wallet brought about a conversation about his and my father's wallets. Let's just say my father's wallet is massive and it might just be as old as he is. The guy from our ward said "well just as long as you switch pockets so it doesn't off balance your gluteus maximus." My fathers response was "I always keep my wallet in the same pocket, I have no problem...I have a cute butt!"
2. We saw 13 pregnant women in about 2 hours at the Art Festival. We have decided there is something in the water in Logan; there are more Prego's in Logan than anywhere else!
3. I have never thought I would be excited to change a diaper with poop in it. Poor constipated baby. Today in church the teacher told us to make sure we got baby suppositories to help with constipation before Sunday came around so that we can keep the Sabbath Day holy. PS: He didn't know that Rhett was having some problems in that area.
4. White ducks love Spencer and flock to him.
5. After 2 months of waiting for it to come I finally got the book "Avengers the Movie Storybook" from the library. Apparently I hadn't logged out of my account at the library and someone put the book on hold and it ended up on my account. We were really excited for it to really finally come (can you hear my sarcasm?).
6. Wasps kill centipedes...I saw it with my own eyes.
7. A crow that has been run over by a car multiple times is gross
8. My child goes to preschool. Yes, our 3 month old has preschool once a week with Head Start. Why you may ask? Pretty much because we recently learned that when our child out grows his car seat the program will help us buy a new one for only $30.
9. Puke and poop seem to be the major themes that end up in a lot of our text messaging to one another.
10. So if I smack Rhett's hands together really hard and really fast he will laugh and squeal. I guess he's a little masochistic. See video below.

Spencer's Professional Camera Skills
So...lately Rhett likes to play a game with his mommy. I wiggle my fingers at him, and then I tickle him! Just tonight Spencer was able to capture part of our little game on his camera phone. We hope you enjoy it!

Ducks 2
I'm not quite sure why I love ducks so much especially since I still get nightmares from being 6 years old at the "Loyal Royal Weenie Roast" and having ducks and GIANT GEESE chase me around the park with me barely escaping with my life! Somehow I have managed to forgive these creatures with such small brains. The other day Spencer spotted baby ducks at the creek up the road. Rhett told me he wanted to go see them one night so we set off hoping they would come see us. And as we waited for only a few minutes the ducks started to come down the sewage smelling water. After almost 30 minutes of watching the ducks Rhett decided he had had enough, too bad because the lighting became so much better just ten minutes later. So for better duck pictures go to this very old post.
