A Ladder And Some Ketchup

If you ever need a good joke to play on your spouse just ask my dad he has performed hundreds of them. Last Saturday was no different. He had decided that the side of the house needed to be looked at  to see about the water which has been dripping off of it and onto the driveway. In order to look at it though you have to climb onto a very tall unstable ladder. My mother gets so scared that he is going to fall and break his neck one of these days. So on Saturday she told him she would hold the ladder for him before she went to a movie with my sister. In the morning she held the ladder and then he got down, she thought he was done doing what he needed to do that morning so she went back in and got ready to go to the movie.
When she came out of the garage in her car where was my dad? Yup back on the ladder with no one holding it or there to witness when or how he was going to kill himself. She yelled out the window for him to be careful, knowing my dad I'm sure he just rolled his eyes at her and didn't think twice about what he was doing.
When my mother got back from the movie she noticed the ladder was laying sideways on the driveway and there was a red pool next to it.
My dad thinks he is so funny.
He had tipped the ladder over and poured ketchup all around it and the driveway to make it look like he had fallen and there was blood everywhere!
I asked him where he got this brilliant idea and he said, "It was inspiration."
This is why I heart this man!
