I haven't posted in a while

Here are a few updates on our family:
 Spencer-
He took his big test last week, the test that says whether we get to have a job in the next few months. He won't find out his results for at least 5 weeks. Everyone asks if we have applied for jobs and the answer is no...we can't until a license comes in the mail. Spencer now has to finish his hours and do his comps which basically determines whether he passes grad school (no big deal...).
Rhett-
He has started to want to include his sister a lot more when he plays and they have become good friends. He has taught his sister about all the super heroes so now she knows how to do all their moves thanks to him. If you ask him what he wants to be when he grows up he will tell you he wants to be Wolverine from X-Men. He loves to do puzzles now and will sit and do them over and over again. He loves anything to do with super heroes, sports and Docmcstuffins. He knows all his letters and can officially after this week identify the numbers up to twelve. He's been awesome at getting Hope to nursery, he grabs her hand and then they go down the hall together laughing.
Hope-
She is obsessed over anything to do with Mickey and Minnie Mouse and Elmo. Any where we go we have to sing songs about Elmo, if we don't she will ask about Elmo the entire car ride. She also loves super heroes just like her brother. If she sees Iron Man any where she will put her hand out just like him and then make some sound effects. Or if she sees a Superman she will repeatedly say "man man man" until you say Superman just as many times. She loves dancing! When the ice cream truck comes, which is everyday, she has made a new rule that we all have to go outside and dance. She loves to color with markers mainly because then she gets to color her knees, hands and feet. She loves to talk on the phone to anyone. and she is constantly giving kisses all day long!
My friend had a great idea of having our kids play in colored noodles. Rhett continues to talk about the noodles. However if even one tiny noodle touched Hope's toe she freaked out.

Thanks grandma for sending these awesome art smocks, Hope asks to wear it when she eats and then she has to have a Mickey Mouse bib over it.

We go to the Library every week. The librarians love my children. And no I'm not just biased because I think my kids are great. They wait to start things until we show up. When all the other kids are doing things and Ms. Deborah (the story time librarian) should probably be cleaning up she always comes over and sits with Hope and plays with her for a long time. The other librarians will get super hero stickers ready just for Rhett and they set brand new books aside for my kids. These are things I have never seen them do for any other kids. I love our library! This summer the reading program is about super heroes so of course both kids were so excited when Iron Man showed up one day.

They have this new thing of pretending they have a mustache so while they eat they will put their silverware on their face
We picked tons of blue berries the other day, Hope probably ate just as many, her diapers have been epic this week!

  1. Oh my goodness. Hope is getting so big! We were just talking about you guys and how we hope you move back to Logan. :) I guess anywhere in northern Utah would suffice though.
